Brown

"Any of a group of colors between red and yellow in hue that are medium to low in lightness and low to moderate in saturation. -- dictionary.com

I like brown music.

This came to light when I put my favourite CDs into a travel case. Eighty percent of the graphics were brown or a light, brownish beige that one might call tan.

It's fairly fitting given that my taste in music is considered to be, by some, poopy! Think of how much easier it would be to buy music if one could walk into a store and ask for the five latest brown discs? Or blue disks? Or red?

But otherwise, brown is pretty much brown. Brown brings to mind A&W mama burgers, crocheted throws, wide leg corduroys, earth shoes, colonial furniture, mars bars, mascara, and Charlie's Angels.

"....bay, dapple, auburn, castaneous, chestnut, nut-brown, cinnamon, russet, tawny, fuscous, chocolate, maroon, foxy, tan, brunette, whitey brown; fawn-colored, snuff-colored, liver-colored; brown as a berry, brown as mahogany, brown as the oak leaves; khaki." - Ibid.

Why try to wrap it with niceties? Brown is brown.
