My theory of life Have I told you about my triangular theory of life? Say you have a triangle, and at each point resides either love, home or work. love = relationships, romance - the squishy stuff (heart) home = roots, health, four walls and a roof - where you hang your hat (house) work = job, money - the stuff that you have to do to support the stuff that you'd rather be doing (dollar)
An equilateral triangle, a triangle with equal sides and angles, is a life in balance - perfection - and something I strive for. Striving for and achieving is something different all together. I'm sure you've had some variation of this, with flameouts in perhaps one, two or three of the elements. One is pretty easy to deal with. Two can be dicey. And three? Well, three sucks big time.This isn't to say that the triangle remains rigid and it's really rather Mandelbrot. On any given day, the pattern can change as events ebb and flow. As it is from month to month and year to year. Here are a few snapshots of my life:
