Bit parts Along Came a Spider isn't a particularly bad flick. Solid fare for an "I need to get away from my computer" moment. Morgan Freeman is as interesting as ever. Michael Wincott doesn't display his full baddy potential. Monica Potter sounds like a petulant Julia Roberts. Michael Moriarty's Senator Rose has been on a long term bender and his wife, Penelope Ann Miller seems to have more back bone. Why isn't she the Senator? A couple of bit parts caught my eye as the credits rolled. "Potential evil guy on train" and "Man who can't answer phone." Potential evil guy on train? I'd like to cast out all the bit parts in my life with such honesty. Previous cast credits might include "Bitchy coworker," "Psycho project manager," "Friend who owes money," "Rebound boyfriend IV," and "Horrible grade seven French teacher." It's tempting, but the karmic bitch slap would be a doozy. So, let's turn it around. Here's how I think I might show up in your credits. "Sleeping girl at party" - I've got this one down pat. Method acting. "Crazy girlfriend" - Again, years of practice. "Girl with "Flip flop fetishist" "Lesbian" (4/16/01) "Neurotic coworker" or "Neurotic friend" or "Neurotic sister" "Cry baby" I'm working in that quirky character actress niche. You know, the oddball pal. April 18, 1906. The saga of the Bra Ball. "It is a tale about art, commerce, intellectual property, technology and gender." Miss Pea's got a brand new Pen Cam! The day before yesterday? Locusts. |
