 saturday, april 28PC envy or PenCam news Don't you just hate when something is PC only? I endured years of PC envy (not to be confused with penis envy, though that has been an issue) while a Mac head. Cheaper hardware and more applications were always just out of my reach. I think I spent close to $8,000 on my first Mac over a decade ago. The printer alone was three grand. Three grand! Expletives deleted. Then again, today, I miss actually understanding what's going on under the hood. The workings of the twigs, rubber bands and paper clips that keeps this beast going, is a complete mystery to me. Something conks out and I'm shit out of luck. That scream you hear? My anguished cry of frustration! What I've been working up to tell you is that the cute little Aiptek PenCam, that people are having so much fun with, isn't just for PCs anymore. Cheryl has found a Photoshop plug-in that lets Mac users, with USB ports, use the PenCam! Here's the poop. (And there was much jubilation!)
