harrumph! still crazy!

Yesterday, in the midst of all the silliness, Caroline passed me the baton in the "system tray steeple chase." You're supposed to write about the applications open on your computer and whatever else is running on your system.

My poop? Windows2000 on some Dell monstrosity. Attached: ViewSonic 19" monitor (stickers attached read "chop wood, carry water" and "breathe"), Lexmark Z51 colour printer, a USB hub for all my camera cables and the IR connector for my Casio wrist cam. My HP scanner sits in a box and I've never been able to get it to run with Windows2000. I'm currently running Photoshop 6.0, HomeSite 4.5.1, FTP Voyager 7.2.1.0, QuarkXPress 4.1, Outlook 2000, AOL Instant Messenger and some version of IE. Norton AntiVirus checks my files and for some reason, the Adaptek CD Wizard feels the need to announce itself in the system tray.

The baton was previously carried by: Tonie, Escape, Kutjebef, Joost, Zidouta, Ralph, Cioran, Hinke, Wim, Cockie, Niels, Els, Wilco, Ludo, Hans, Low, Elrado, Ellen, Milo, Remco, Rik, Hubert, Lekkerbelangrijk, BB3, Demmer, L-rs, Puck, Merel, Nonharmful, Uren.Dagen.Nachten, Karma Universe, Hank!, kapingamarangi, orfelio, Walter and Caroline.

The baton travelled 5468 miles from Caroline and I'm sending it 2095 miles to my friend Davezilla.
Check out our Photoshop tennis match. Derek clinched it in round seven. Jay's initialed the pole. Will you?

I've called it "Gazelle."

Yesterday? Calla.
