(in no particular order)
1 Ambrosia and nectar for the modern age. Popcorn follows closely. Then caramels and Pringles. Oh, and Montreal bagels. 2 Very good movie. 3 Be very careful that you have a reasonable amount of clearance above your head. I have a small scar just above my left knee from jumping on the bed. I whomped my head on a low hanging glass light fixture. It shattered in the most spectacular manner. A small shard pierced my flesh above my knee such that I required stitches. The doctor inquired about the odd angle of entry and I mentioned that I'd been jumping on the bed. He had the gall to roll his eyes... Oh, did I mention that I was in University at the time? 4 I'm not advocating any level of spending that might accrue significant debt. This spending doesn't concern you doing your part for the economy (like that was a good idea). We're talking about a small, little, shiny thing to bring some joy. I'm part crow. 5 Very relaxing. Well, actually, my last couple of manicures haven't been so relaxing. A wee wailing baby serenaded us throughout my last visit and the time before that, well, one of the clients changed the channel to a cooking show. It was all well and good until the chef started gutting a dozen mackerel. What do relaxing and flying fish innards have in common? Nothing! 6 If you've the time and/or the inclination, drive to San Diego and petition Halycon for a hug. He's the king. 7 Eamon's pavlovian response to the word "lollipop" is almost pornographic. I need to capture this behaviour on video tape before he outgrows the impulse. 8 One Ring to rule them all One Ring to find them, One Ring to bring them all And in the darkness bind them. 9 Do some good for someone else. Sunday? A selection of New Year cards |
