Al and Harry careen down Carl St
towards Cole Valley. Given that they're being chased by a radio controlled car full of C4, it's unlikely that they'll have a chance to stop and sample the delights of Cole Valley.

Watch out Harry!
It's the N turning into the sunset tunnel.

Must avoid hittting MUNI train.

Must avoid hitting Vierra & Friends and Egg
(you'd be surprised how many of the webloggers you know and love get their hair done at Vierra & Friends - if Harry took out the building, the web would have a very bad hair day).

Looking back on Carl to Burgermeister.

EOS on the corner (fine dining,
though the I've heard they're bad neighbours).

Cole St.: The dry cleaners, Bambino's (always empty), Zazie (good brunch), Grandeho's Kamekyo (fine Sushi), Finnegans Wake (neighbourhood bar), Pharmaca (new foofie pharmacy - replaced the rather dusty Val-Gring), Tulleys (that other Pacific coast chain) and the Postal Chase (still not accepting peanuts).

Zooming past Finnegans (so fast that you can't see all the cigarette butts - oh for the days of smoking in bars).

Alpha Market (neigbourhood grocers - very sweet, will order anything your heart desires - even edemami and Bubbi's pickles).

Boulange de Cole Valley (great French pastries though they make tea in a glass and put the tea bag in aftewards - further proof the French dislike the English).
Above: A tour through present day Cole Valley as seen through The Dead Pool (1988).

Why does this fellow look so familiar?
It's Jay! In Hungary!*

Jezebel receives a minor face lift.

* If I read that out loud the pups would come running. Hungary, not hungry, silly dogs! Ix-nay words chez Casa Caremelita also include "walk" and "biscuit."
