My day off earlier in the week was partially occupied with a visit from a tv crew for a piece that will air in the Philippines on Net 25. You think the animals could behave for a couple of hours while I was interviewed? Ha! Spoo and Chieka took turns chasing each other around the apartment, while Tigger plopped down in my lap for a snooze, snuffling and wheezing like an old man. The nuttiness escalated when Chieka decided to chew on her bone (loudly) beside the woman holding the mike. I took the bone away from her and tucked it down between the cushions of our blue couch (call me Princess Not So Bright). What did Chieka do? Immediately hopped up and began digging as if the buried item was the last bone on earth. The dogs were then crated for the duration in the hope of saving whatever dignity I had left. Spoo had the final word. During one very passionate exchange, she ambled between the interviewer and myself across the sofa back, tail held high. |
