harrrrrrumph! still crazy

The lunatics have escaped

Have you ever thought "oh, that's right, I had asparagus for dinner"? It might come to mind during one of those private moments behind closed doors with either the seat up or down, depending upon which way your parts work.

"In 1891 a scientist named "Nencki" had so very little to do that he convinced four guys to eat seven kilograms of asparagus (that's about three and a half pounds each). He collected the pertinent pee, worked some medieval magic on it, and concluded that the smell was due to a metabolite called methanethiol." Discover Online

It's not as if we're separated into stinkers and non-stinkers. It's all in the nose. Some people, approximately 22% can smell, while the rest remain blissfully unaware of what the metabolites have done to number one.

And so ends this episode of Dr. Science at harrumph!
