harrrrrrumph! still crazy

So, it's February 3rd and my birthday is a long ways away, which quite frankly is a very good thing because I'm turning 40 this year. I'd like to say that I'll deal with this with all the decorum that one expects from Heather Champ*, but I'll most likely become completely impossible.

Here's the deal -- because time hasn't stood still and I'm facing the dawn of yet another decade**, I want something special for my birthday. What I want is a Mirror Project contribution from Moby (see here, here or here). Is it too much too ask for?

Don't think that I'm taking the easy way out by foisting this adventure on you. I cross my heart that I've tried to contact Moby myself. I sent a very nice, if slightly insane email to his management company, MCT Management, in the vain hope that they might forward it to him. Alas, no response.

But you, you with all your contacts, I'm sure that you can get the deed done. There are 85 Moby-in-the-Mirror-Project days left until my birthday. Please see what you can do.

I'll love you forever.

* I hope you didn't hurt yourself when you fell to the floor laughing. We here at harrumph! will not be held responsible for any injury that might occur. It's your own damn fault.

** Forty is the new thirty, or am I just kidding myself?
