Doesn't "Canadia" sound far more exotic than Canada? That extra vowel adds a distinct air of something that is more than just vaguely foreign. Known for our love of the penultimate "u," would the addition of that "i" be too much to ask? I think not. "I am Canadian. I am from Canadia." Makes perfect sense to me.
